DACA Immigration

DACA benefiting the economy
DACA was the main contributor making the unemployment rate of 2012 go from 5% (before DACA) down to 3.7% (After DACA).
The more immigrants that are working means more tax money for the government . That tax money can help pay off the national debt, improve or build places in the U.S such as roads , new schools, and hospitals.
Educational opportunities
DACA allows Immigrants to apply for financial aid for college.
College now a days is really expensive and nearly impossible for a immigrant to go to college without financial aid. In the past immigrants would just graduate high school with no hopes of going to college or chasing their dream job because they wouldn't be able to afford it. They would go straight to the workforce. Now they can chase their dream and live a happy life.
Current status
On September 5, 2017 president trump decided to terminate DACA. This is a huge change in the young generation who were about to apply for DACA now they might have to suffer for the rest of their lives because of a president who doesn't see the damage he is causing.
On January 9, 2018 a San Francisco federal judge ordered the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to accept DACA renewals nationwide. This means everyone that had DACA before it was terminated is able to renew their application. The DACA policy to this day is terminated still and it doesn't seem like it will come back until we get another president because Donald Trump doesn't like immigrants. DACA being terminated will bring a lot of problems like the unemployment rate will go back up. and the U.S will lose money when they could become richer every year by still having DACA.
